Joshua Tree Expedition Itinerary

Sample Itinerary

March 20th – Meet in Voyageur Office @ 2:00 PM for final gear check and load bus to depart for IAD

20th – Late evening arrival in California, final grocery shop, drive into JTNP

21st – Acclimatization day, setting camp, climbing day

22nd – 27th Climbing at the numerous crags of JTNP

Daily sample:
Wake up with the sun
Breakfast
Bombproof camp
Travel to climbing location/Climb
Cook dinner
Evening meeting
Sleep

28th – Up early again, this time to break down camp and begin the trip back to Washington, DC. We will depart the park by 5:00 am  in order to be at the airport for our 8:15 am flight. We are scheduled to arrive back at IAD at 6:05 pm.  We will have transportation back to the Cathedral Close arranged and anticipate arriving no later than 8:00 pm.   

**Parents may meet us at the airport to pick up their students if they wish.  We only ask that you be there on time as we will not be able to leave a student there waiting to be picked up.
